Seun Kuti nominated as Grammy release list of nominees for the 61st Grammy Awards

Seun Kuti, the youngest son of late Afrobeat legend Fela Anukilapo-Kuti, who also sings Afrobeat has shown that he inherited his father’s talents as a musician.

The Afrobeat singer has been nominated for a Grammy award. The singer was nominated for the 61st edition of the Grammy awards. His album Black Times was listed among the nominees for the World Best Music Album Award category.

Grammy.com released the list of the 2019 awards on Friday, December 7. The award is set to hold on February 10, 2019, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Seun Kuti had shared a post few months back, asking his friends and fans to vote for his album that was being considered for the nomination.
